Peter K. Kennedy is the Chief Operating Officer of HCA’s Northside Hospital and Tampa Bay Heart Institute in St. Petersburg, Florida.Board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow, Mr. Kennedy has been an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), an international professional society of more than 48,000 healthcare executives who lead hospitals, healthcare systems and other healthcare organizations, since 2006.
Mr. Kennedy has served as Chief Operating Officer, Northside Hospital and Tampa Bay Heart Institute, since 2016. Prior to that he was the Associate COO within HCA’s COO Development Program at TriStar Centennial Medical Center, Nashville TN and CJW Medical Center, Richmond, VA, from 2013 to 2016. Previously he served as Associate Administrator of Business Development and Division Practice Management of VCU Health System/MCV Associated Physicians in Richmond, VA from 2011 to 2013; as Administrative Intern and Resident of CJW Medical Center, Richmond, VA from 2008 to 2010.
Clinically Mr. Kennedy has served as Cardiovascular Research Coordinator, Intermountain Healthcare’s LDS Hospital, Salt Lake City, UT from 2005 to 2007; and as Pharmacy Technician of Superior Care Pharmacy (Omnicare), Salt Lake City, UT from 2002 to 2005.
Mr. Kennedy serves on the boards of the Pinellas Park Gateway Chamber of Commerce as Vice Chairman/Board of Trustees and an Executive Board member of the Vincent House, partner of Clubhouse International.
Mr. Kennedy received a Master of Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration from University of Phoenix. |
